MyIndianStore ("we," "us," "our") is committed to
protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect,
use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our
Android app and related services (the "Services").
01 / Information We Collect

Account & Contact Info. Name, email, phone,
shipping/billing addresses.

User Content. Content you submit (e.g., recipes,
reviews, ratings, comments, images).

Transactions & Payments. Order details and
payment status. Card data is processed by our payment processor
(e.g., Stripe/Google Pay) and not stored by
MyIndianStore.

Device & Usage Data. IP address, device
identifiers, OS, app version, screens viewed, interaction events;
crash logs and diagnostics.

Cookies & Similar Tech. Cookies, local storage,
and SDK events for authentication, preferences, and analytics.

Location (if used): for nearby stores and delivery
estimates.

Push Notification Tokens (if used): for order
updates and service alerts.

SMS & Phone Number. If you provide your phone
number, we use it to send order updates, delivery notifications, OTP
verification, and (with your consent) promotional messages via SMS.
Standard carrier rates may apply. See Section 1b for full SMS
consent details.
1b / SMS Messaging & Consent
By providing your phone number during registration or checkout, you
consent to receive SMS messages from MyIndianStore (via Twilio)
including order confirmations, delivery alerts, OTP codes, and support
follow-ups. Marketing SMS is only sent with explicit opt-in.
If you opt in, you may receive SMS text messages from MyIndianStore
regarding your account, orders, deliveries, and important
notifications. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may
apply. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

OS-Level Permissions. Revoke camera, location,
photos/media, microphone, contacts, and notifications in Android
settings.

Marketing Opt-Out. Unsubscribe via email links at
any time.

Cookies/Ads. Control cookies in your browser; reset
your Android advertising ID in device settings.
06 / Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described above
and to meet legal requirements.
07 / Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not
knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have inadvertently
collected such information, please contact us to have it removed.
08 / International Transfers
Data may be processed or stored in countries other than where you
reside. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards to protect your
information during such transfers.
09 / Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location (e.g., EEA/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA),
you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or object
to/restrict certain processing. Submit a request via the contact
details below. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a
request.
10 / Data Deletion Requests
Request deletion by using the Delete Account option
in-app or by emailing
info@myindianstore.app
with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and your account email.
11 / Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated
version with a new "Effective date" and, where appropriate, notify you
in-app or by email.
